Hello, dear friends and family:
We wanted to thank you for all your prayers and love and support, and let you know some positive news from today's ultrasound. The fluid around the baby's abdomen (ascites) is almost gone, and the heart looks stronger and healthier! It's still pumping slightly irregularly (cardiomyopathy, a set of symptoms but no clear cause for now), but it was very comforting to hear the doctors say words like, "good trend," "great," and even a quiet "miracle." :) They told us "whatever you're doing -- keep doing it." And that's all of you praying!! :)
So we're not out of the woods yet, but we're headed in the right direction. Praise God and thank you! He will answer us!
